My collecting habits started at a young age, I received many of my first action figures as hand me downs from my older Brother Erik. We played with many different brands, but GI Joe was always my favorite. I remember having Major Matt Mason, various MEGO figures (Action Jackson) etc. Modellman from Spain as I lived in Europe till I was Ten yrs old.
My Father was a lifer in the Army (27 yrs) and retired when I was Ten as a full Bird Colonel (06) The family then moved to Florida where I reside today. My Father Charles passed on May 1st 1990 and my Mother Jean is holding the fort as the resident Matriarch of the Family. I have three sisters Karen, Sue-Ellen and Gay listed in order of Birth and one Brother Erik. My Brother is also a retired lifer (20 yrs) from the US Army and currently resides in Missouri. I served in the US Army also from March 1985- October 1987. I trained as an Infantryman in Ft. Benning GA and graduated as a Heavy Weapons Anti-Tank Crewman. My MOS was 11HE9 and I served my entire tour in a Mechanized Infantry Regiment stationed at Baumholder Germany. I served in the 8th Infantry Division (Pathfinders) 1st Batallion 13th Inf Regiment.
I also served in the US Coast Gaurd Auxillary for 7 years, but lost interest in Boating and resigned from Flotilla 7-16 here in Gulfport.
I am Married to Aralyn (Wife) since May 24th 1996. We have no children, but enjoy the company of our Dogs.
I started buying, selling and trading in 1999 with the hopes of supplementing my collection. I have achieved that goal and have been blessed with many new friends and repeat customers. In 2005 I became interested in Wargameing and this got me started back into Toy Soldiers. I learned to paint initially from my brother and then gained more experience with practice.
